These Storm the World Online Terms and Conditions (together with the attached links and/or other attachments, the “Terms”) are legally binding and enforceable terms between Digital Games Pte. Ltd. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “Storms Publishing”)
and you, a mobile applications developer (“you” or “developer”), and govern the Storm the World Contest organized by Storms Publishing.
By clicking “submit your game for STW” (or any similar language) and/or by otherwise participating in the Storm the World Contest, you agree and undertake to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept or agree to these Terms or any part thereof, you may not participate in the Storm the World Contest. In addition, you consent to the use of electronic means and/or records to preserve your acceptance of these Terms and storing information related to these Terms.
As of 15 July 2021 and until 15 August 2021, you can submit your mobile application game(s) (each submitted mobile application game, a “Game”) to the Storm the World Contest. By submitting your Game, you hereby agree, in addition to these Terms, to the
Storms Publishing Testing Terms.
Upon submission, Storms Publishing will examine each Game and, based on its sole discretion, will approve or reject the Game for testing and participation in the Storm the World Contest. By 15th October 2021, Storms Publishing will announce the winners (if any) of the Storm the World Contest. Storms Publishing reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend, or suspend the Storm the World Contest, for any or no reason, at its sole discretion.
You may submit an unlimited number of games, but If one of the above requirements does not apply to you, please do not submit your Game to the Storms the World Contest.
If your Game was already tested by Storms Publishing OR if your Game is subject to a publishing agreement between you and Storms Publishing or between you and any third party, OR if you (including your Game) do not comply with these Terms, please do not submit your Game.

The selection of winners will undergo two rounds of judging.
In this round, the competition jury that comprises experts across areas such as game design, monetisation and user acquisition (“UA”) will select the Top 10 Games based on 4 judging criteria.
The Game with the highest score will be announced as one of the Top 10 Games on the STW Discord Channel on Tuesday, 31 August.
The Top 10 Games shall progress to the Second Round - User Acquisition Test, and shall also be eligible to each receive a cash prize of US$1,000 (subject to terms and conditions).
For the avoidance of doubt, the US$1,000 shall be paid out only at the end of the Storm the World Contest, provided that the intended recipients complete the said contest, do not drop out midway and do not reach out to any other publishers or third parties whilst participating in the contest.
In this round, the Top 10 Games will go through a round of Cost Per Install (CPI) & Retention testing. The test will be conducted in the US Market. Depending on the test results, they will have the opportunity to win the following prizes such as:
Having said this, there are many factors that go into the decision to globally launch a game, and Storms takes a holistic view of every game we evaluate, and some games may qualify for publishing if some of their KPIs fall short of the target while others outperform them.
Please note that in order to be entitled to any prizes mentioned herein, you must participate in media and other publicity events and engagements in connection with the Contest and sign a publishing agreement with Storms Publishing (“Publishing Contract”). Each participant whose submission is selected for publishing shall sign a Publishing Contract and if the game is successfully launched will receive the prize money as a minimum guarantee payment under the Publishing Contract. The winner will receive the payment upon acceptance of the game under the Publishing Contract and the prize amount received by the winner shall be recoupable from royalties as defined in the Publishing Contract.
For the avoidance of doubt, Storms retain the discretion whether to declare winners, and if so, up to a maximum of ten..
You hereby undertake, represent, and warrant that (i) you are the developer and owner of the Game(s) and you have all rights required to participate in the Storms the World Contest; (ii) the information provided by you to Storms Publishing is correct and accurate; (iii) the Game(s) submitted by you does not and will not (A) be copied from and/or (B) misappropriate or infringe any rights of Storms Publishing or any third party; (iv) you and the Game(s) do not and will not violate any applicable law (including any anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws), rule, regulation or guidelines, including those of the applicable mobile application stores; and (v) you are not located and/or work in a black-listed country as established by OFAC, or considered a Specially Designated National (“SDN”) by OFAC.
You hereby agree to provide Storms Publishing, its affiliated companies and co-sponsors of the Storm the World Contest like Adjust GmbH (“Sponsors”) with the right to use your Game’s name, logo or other trademarks as a reference for marketing or promotional purposes. You acknowledge and agree that by submitting your Game and accepting these Terms, your registration information (which includes name, email, company and country) will be stored and processed by Sponsors for the purposes of performance of these Terms, marketing, internal operations and in order to satisfy any applicable laws and regulations. We will store your registration information as long as it is necessary in order to fulfill the above purposes. We will not sell, share or otherwise disclose your personal information other than sharing it with other Sponsors, our service providers and corporate affiliates (in order to fulfill the above purposes), which may be located in a country that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. To the extent granted by applicable data protection legislation, you may request access, modification, restriction of data processing or deletion of your personal information, or exercise your right to data portability. You may exercise your rights by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (e.g. of your country or domicile) where Storms Publishing has not addressed your concerns.
Storms Publishing makes no warranties and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning the Storms the World Contest. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the prizes (if any) are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, and Storms Publishing hereby disclaims all such warranties, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose. You agree to release and hold harmless Storms Publishing from and against any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that you may have, or which may arise, against you for any liability for any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to any loss or damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from your participation in the Storm the World Contest.
You may not assign these Terms, your participation in the Storm the World Contest or any of the prizes to any third party, any such assignment shall be null and void.
These Terms are governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflicts of law principles or provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and/or the Storm the World Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
